We were established in 2010 by apprentice trained Electrician Robert Wilmot. A Sole Trader at the time he was Inspired by a Property Developer client, keen to reduce Energy costs. Robert became one of the first MCS accredited Solar PV installers in the Leeds area.
Always focused on honesty, integrity and quality of install and working with long standing roofing partners PJ Hoban we now have experience working on a range of rooftops.
Despite the rise and fall of the UK Solar subsidies we have continued to invest in training - embracing other technologies and believing in the future of Renewable Energy. By 2014, now a growing family business, we were installing Air Source Heat Pumps for Renewable heat plus Thermodynamics hot water systems.
Our customers think like we do and want to invest in Renewable technology for these reasons. Of course the capital gains and incentives are important but we think of these as the icing on the Renewable Energy cake rather than the reason to invest.
We are members of the RECC which protects consumers and always provide insurance backed guarantees on Solar installs in line with the code. We also see the importance of Health & Safety and have been certified by CHAS since 2012 - working effectively on Construction sites with trades and professional a like.

We were spending over £3,000 a year on Oil and switched (to be more environmentally friendly) to an Air Source Heat Pump. We offset the cost of running the Heat Pump with Solar PV. It's early days to see how much we are saving but we are earning over £1,000 a year in incentives and we are on the lower FiT rate for our Solar due to the age of the property.
